An I Matter Relationship Health Learning Process can be progressed in three key ways through this clinic

Following an initial registration step and a consultation we aim to offer some flexible learning options. Group learning can be very powerful but individualised self-paced learning can offer flexibility.

Courses Content

Who is it for?

Study of an I Matter Relationship Health approach series is ideal for any individual or parent or carer who wants to develop their own confidence and skills in relation to a challenging situation.

Suitable for adults, young adults, parents, step parents, grandparents who are actively involved in the caring role

No previous qualifications are required.

What you'll learn

During the live online sessions, you'll explore:

  • The I Matter Framework and a relationship health approach to improving adult and child wellbeing
  • The connection between relationship health and wellbeing and behaviour
  • How to develop a team based whole-setting approach that supports the wellbeing of adults so they can support social and emotional health of all babies, toddlers and young children
  • A framework for understanding the development of skills for relationship health
  • How to build skills for relationship health in your everyday interactions with babies, toddlers and young children
  • using the I Matter assessment checklists to provide an easy overview of the progression of skills.
  • Hos to plan and develop specific strategies and activities that support the wellbeing and relationship skills development of all babies, toddlers and young children in your setting
  • Incorporating strategies and activities into your everyday routines and structures
  • How to evidence the progress of children and demonstrate impact of your apprah
  • The role of I Matter Early Years Licensed Practitioners and how to support them effectively


Course structure

The course is structured into five virtual training sessions, each 75 mins long. There is online preparation to complete before each session.
